This Winter season; Perdeberg Wines will be taking guests on a delectable soup tasting journey when they introduce their Barrel & Hops Soup Pairing experience. Think rich, creamy, savoury spoonfuls of fragrant broths, served with crunchy bread or crispy croutons on the side, paired with fresh, malty beer or crisp, chilled wine.
Kicking off on 1 June 2017, each session consists of three different flavoured hearty soups paired with three of their newly launched Hops & Co Craft beers. For the avid wine lovers out there, the crafts beers can certainly be exchanged for three of their award-winning wines instead.
Each pairing combination is carefully arranged by Perdeberg Wines winemakers to provide the guests the best possible depth of flavour and exceptional tasting experience
The pairing will be as follows:
- Vineyard Collection Grenache Blanc 2015 and Hops & Co Pale Ale paired with Butternut Soup
- Vineyard Collection Malbec 2015 and Hops & Co Pilsner paired with Luxury Mushroom Soup
- Dryland Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 and Hops & Co Lager paired with Tomato Soup
